Restoring hope within our clients.

Whom does the Father Fred Foundation serve?
All residents of the Grand Traverse region (Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau Counties) who have an emergency need. If the individual or family has exhausted all state or federal assistance, the Foundation is committed to doing what it can to help the situation. Many who come to the Foundation have a temporary crisis due to unforeseen circumstances. One visit to the Foundation can be the boost that makes all the difference.

Is the Father Fred Foundation a Catholic organization?
The Father Fred Foundation is not affiliated with the Catholic Church. It was founded by Father Fred, a Catholic priest, but prides itself on serving people in need from all traditions. There is no “test” to determine who will receive help. Volunteers and staff come from many diverse religious backgrounds.
